Laser therapy

We can easily treat gum disease with laser therapy

Dr. Alex Newman is proud to offer his patients Laser Therapy.

In case you wonder what laser therapy is and when it’s needed you can read below for more explanations about this kind of dental treatment, when it’s needed, and how it’s used.

What is Laser Therapy?

A laser is a high-tech device that generates a tiny beam of very concentrated light.

This beam of light brings energy into your mouth through a tiny fiber, to help remove areas of infection and gum disease around your teeth with great precision and accuracy.

The laser beam sterilizes the affected area and seals off blood vessels, which minimizes the chance of infection or bleeding.

Patients are much more comfortable during and after treatment with laser therapy.

The need for local anesthesia is reduced, but it’s still usually used to make sure that you feel absolutely nothing during the treatment.
